Species: galeopterus variegatus
Location: Sarawak, Malaysia
Description: With the use of thin membranes stretched between their fore and back legs, Sunda Flying Lemurs (galeopterus variegatus) have the ability to glide from one tree to another. Most often found clinging to a tree in the upright position or hanging upside-down, these shy tree-dwelling herbivores depend totally on the forest for their existence.
