Description: A stalk-eyed fly, possibly from the tephritidae family. In some species of stalk-eyed flies only the males possess eyestalks, an example of sexually selected animals. The antennae of this stalk-eyed fly is positioned in front of it's stalk while those from the Diopsidae family is positioned at the end of the stalks.
