Description: Mangrove or Shore Pit Vipers are aggressive and highly venomous. These pit vipers use heat-sensing pit organs to hunt and locate, even if its prey is motionless and in complete darkness. They also have prehensile tails, which is especially well-suited for these arboreal snakes, enabling them to grasp and hang on to small branches well.
