Description: Semelai siblings in their kampung home in Tasik Bera. The Semelai or Semaq Tasik (the lake people) are a sub-group of the Proto-Malay tribe of Peninsular Malaysia. Many reside in the wetland sanctuary of Tasik Bera, (Peninsula Malaysia's largest natural freshwater lake) which has been their home for hundreds of years.
