Location: Gopeng, Perak
Description: The Frog-legged Leaf Beetle comes in many glossy iridescent metallic colors. The females of the species featured here are blue, while the males are more of a greenish-blue coloration. Although the hind legs of these insects are large, its not meant for jumping. In fact, the frog-legged leaf beetle is a rather slow moving animal.
