Location: Sarawak, Malaysia
Description: An entomophagous parasitic wasp possibly from the genus ampulex. These attractive looking wasps disable host insects by stinging them then ovipositing eggs on their paralyzed bodies. When the eggs hatch, the larvae feeds on the insides of the still living host, pupates and eventually emerges from the dead host.
