Description: This Little Spiderhunter was photographed in a tropical rainforest in Lembudud at night. Under the protection of covered leaves, it chooses a thin leaf branch to rest for the night so natural predators such as snakes cant reach it. These nectariniidae birds play an important role in pollinating forest plants such as gingers.
